This year, The Head of the Ohio is excited to introduce land based events into our race weekend!  Competitors will have the opportunity to erg, run, or bike and be a part of the Head of the Ohio from their own home or neighborhood!

HOTO TRIATHLON

For the first time ever, we will be hosting a land-based HOTO Triathlon!  Compete in the erg, run, and bike events and we will combine your respective event times to crown a HOTO Triathlon Champion!

VENUE

Since this will be a virtual event, the venue for these events can be anywhere that suits you!   

Due to the current state of the pandemic, Three Rivers Rowing Association will only be able to host competitors that are current members of TRRA and will have a limited number of ergs and paddle ergs on each campus available for racing.  Use of these ergs/paddle ergs will have to be scheduled within the competition window (October 1-4, 2020).  Conditions permitting, on campus erging will take place outside with a minimum distance of 12-feet between ergs and strict Covid-19 mitigation protocols and procedures will be in place and will only be available to current competitors currently training out TRRA.

Registration is open until October 1, 2020. 

ENTRY FEES FOR ON WATER EVENTS

The entry fee for all land based events will be $20 per entry.

WAIVERS & USROWING MEMBERSHIP

All rowing erg competitors must be at least a Basic Member of USRowing and have a signed on-line waiver.  

You will be notified during the registration process if your USRowing membership and waiver status is up to date.  If it is not, there will be instructions given to update your status.

All Paddle Erg competitors must have an up to date signed Paddle Sports America waiver on file with TRRA.

All Runners & Bikers must have a signed event waiver that will be available by September 20, 2020.

REFUNDS

The Head of the Ohio Regatta will NOT refund scratches communicated to the Race Director beyond the October 1 entry deadline.
